The 120,000-square-foot Houston County spec building is on a 20-acres site only one mile from Interstate 75,one of the country’s busiest north-south transportation corridors.

Industrial Park Spotlight:
Hayestone-Brady Industrial Park, Toccoa
Located in northeast Georgia, Hayestone-Brady Industrial Park in Stephens County is a 425-acre, GRAD-Certified park only six miles from Interstate 85, one of the nation’s major business corridors. There are 250 remaining acres, including a 50-acre site with rail access. >>more

Atlanta Among Top Cities for Fortune 500
Atlanta has the country's third-largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies and more than 75 percent of the Fortune 1000 companies have a presence in the metro area, according to FORTUNE magazine released May 5, 2011, ranking behind only New York and Houston.

Lowe's Expands in Rome
Earlier this month, Lowe’s announced it is once again expanding its presence in Georgia. The company is building a 1.5-million-square-foot regional distribution center in northwest Georgia outside the city of Rome.

Georgia Power Wins Top Utilities in Economic Development Award
Once again, Site Selection magazine has selected Georgia Power as one of the Top Utilities in Economic Development. The win is the 13th conservative award for the company and recognizes the utility’s work in 2010.

New Teacher Assistance Grant Program: Supporting Public Education
Each year since 2004, Georgia Power has awarded $1,000 grants for classroom supplies to some of the state’s best and brightest new teachers. The purpose of the program is to encourage these new teachers by helping them purchase things they need for their classroom.
