NCR Corporation Brings 2,120 Jobs to Georgia
On June 2, NCR Corporation announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters from Dayton, Ohio to Duluth, a suburb of metro Atlanta, moving 1,250 jobs to the state. The company announced it will also build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Columbus, located in west Georgia, where it will produce advanced technology ATM kiosks. The Columbus plant will employ 870 people over the next five years. The announcement follows the company’s decision in October 2008 to establish a global Center of Excellence in Peachtree City, creating 916 jobs.
