Over the past three months, several companies have announced plans to open new facilities or expand existing operations in Georgia. They include the following:

Building Spotlight:  12th & Midtown
This new 38-story office tower, located at 1075 Peachtree Street in the heart of Atlanta’s Midtown business district, has more than 320,000 feet of available Class A space. The space is offered for lease; terms are triple net and the maximum lease rate is $26 per square foot.

Industrial Park Spotlight:
Stone Industrial Park, Thomson

Located in east central Georgia, Stone Industrial Park in Thomson is a 255-acre property immediately adjacent to Interstate 20. All utilities are on site, including a 10-inch water main and 10-inch sewer main, with more than 1 million gallons of excess permitted capacity of each per day. >>more

Completely Redesigned
Earlier this month, Georgia Power released its new economic development website that includes an updated look and new navigation.

In addition to the redesign of the website, changes were also made to Georgia Power’s online property search.

World’s Busiest Airport Expands
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is undergoing a major renovation, expanding Concourse D in order to improve passenger flow, enhance access to the transportation mall and add restaurants and retail stores.
