Over the past few months we have seen an increase in the number of companies moving to Georgia. Recent locations and expansions include TASQ, the largest provider of point-of-sale (POS) goods and services in North America, relocating its headquarters from California to metro Atlanta and bringing 350 jobs; GE Energy Smart Grid opening a new Center of Excellence in Marietta, bringing 400 new jobs; and the reopening of the 900-employee Pilgrim’s Pride food processing plant in Douglas, a facility that was formerly closed due to the downturn in the economy.
