Energy For the Future:  Plant Vogtle
For the first time in more than 25 years, new nuclear generating facilities are being built in the United States. The two new units will be located at Georgia Power's Plant Vogtle in east central Georgia, near the town of Waynesboro, where the company already owns and operates two nuclear units.
