Project activity in Georgia continues to be steady, despite the nation’s lagging economy. Companies announcing new locations or expansions over the past three months include Firth Rixon, a major provider of highly engineered forged and specialty metal products, bringing 200 jobs to coastal Georgia; an expansion by Bombardier Aerospace, opening a new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operation in Macon; and Novelis Inc., moving its U.S. headquarters from Ohio to Atlanta.
Georgia Power project managers are currently working with more than 150 active projects. If you are considering a new or expanding facility in the state – no matter how large or small – we can help. Contact us at econdevga@southernco.com.
